Veena Chidurala

Veena Chidurala is Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Miami University. With over 25 years of teaching experience, she conducts laboratory and lecture courses in programming, algorithms, numerical methods, and mobile applications.

Her research focuses on 3D motion data capture, biomechanical analysis, and neural networks. She utilizes the Vicon Motion Capture System and leads research in computer vision and machine learning applications for movement analysis.

Chidurala has supervised over 60 engineering and master's theses, authored 4 textbooks, and published over 90 scientific articles. As Vice-Dean for Computer Science, she oversees student affairs in the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
