Vebjørn Ekroll

Vebjørn Ekroll is a Professor at the University of Bergen's Department of Social Psychology, where he researches visual perception, cognitive illusions, and psychological principles in magic. He co-leads the Bergen Laboratory for the Study of Decision, Intuition, Consciousness, and Emotion (DICE Lab) and collaborates with international partners. His work has been featured in journals like i-Perception and Trends in Cognitive Sciences.

Ekroll's research examines amodal completion, illusions of absence, and proprioception, with applications in traffic safety and accessible magic design. Recent studies include:
