Professor Vasant Kumar is a Distinguished Research Fellow and Professor of Materials Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy. He holds adjunct roles at institutions in China and India, including Guest Professorships at Nankai University and Honorary Engineering Degrees. His research focuses on batteries (Li-S, Li-ion), environmental sustainability, fuel cells, sensors, and metallurgical processes.
