Varatharaj Varatharaj

Varatharaj Varatharaj is an Instructor of Engineering Technology and International Admissions Coordinator at the College of Engineering, West Texas A&M University (WTAMU). He joined WTAMU in 2021 and holds an M.S. in Engineering Technology from the same institution. Additionally, he has an MBA in International Business (Baldwin Wallace University, 2014) and an MBA in Human Resource Management (Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India, 2007).

His research focuses on STEM Education, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, and Ergonomics. He has published over 15 papers, including a 2021 study on ergonomic workstations in university offices. Varatharaj teaches courses such as Engineering Graphics, Engineering Economics, and Industrial Design/Ergonomics. With over 15 years of experience in Ministry, Higher Education, Business, and Finance, he has served as an Assistant Professor at India’s School of Management Studies for seven years before joining WTAMU.
