Vanessa Hua

Vanessa Hua is a Visiting Writer at Saint Mary’s College of California and a celebrated author of national bestsellers such as A River of Stars and Forbidden City, alongside the short story collection Deceit and Other Possibilities, selected as a New York Times Editors’ Pick. Her literary achievements include prestigious awards like the National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship, Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award, and the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature.
