Valeonti

Professor Valeonti teaches in the Department of Economics and Management at the American University of Paris, having joined in Fall 2021. Previously affiliated with the Sorbonne and Duke University, their research focuses on the history of monetary ideas and policies in 19th-century United States, examining the interplay between economic theory, policy, and visions of economic development during the US reconstruction period.
