Prof. Dr. Valentin Groebner is a Professor of Medieval and Renaissance History at the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences, University of Lucerne. He has held visiting positions at Harvard University (2000) and École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris (2001).
