Dr. Vafa Tabatabaie is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine (Endocrinology) and Orthopaedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She serves as Interim Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Director of the Fracture Liaison Service at Montefiore Medical Center. Her research focuses on osteoporosis prevention, metabolic bone disease, thyroid cancer, and endocrine issues in older adults. She also co-founded the Transgender Interest Group at Montefiore/Einstein.
