Uwe Dulleck

Uwe Dulleck serves as Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business, Government and Law at the University of Canberra, where he is affiliated with the Canberra School of Politics, Economics and Society. His leadership role encompasses the entire faculty structure while maintaining an active research profile across multiple disciplines.

His research spans credence goods economics, Chinese and Australian political economy, cognitive bias mechanisms, labor market dynamics, wage structures, and tax compliance systems. This interdisciplinary work integrates economic theory with political behavior analysis and cognitive psychology, particularly examining how information asymmetry affects decision-making in markets and institutions.

Recent publications (2024-2025) demonstrate a clear trajectory toward applied interdisciplinary research, with studies examining sharing economy platforms in emerging markets, cognitive heuristics in medical triage, digital transformation in banking, and audience news perception frameworks. These works collectively reveal his focus on behavioral economics intersecting with technological disruption and institutional responses across diverse sectors.

Professor Dulleck currently leads three major collaborative projects: "Retail Investor Outcomes in Spot Crypto Markets" (2025-2026) analyzing digital asset markets, "CANBREATHE" (2025-2028) investigating wildfire smoke health impacts across Southeast Asia, and the "Centre of Research Excellence in Transforming Gut Health" (2024-2029) as Chief Investigator.
