Prof. Dr. Ute Engel is a Full Professor for Medieval Art History at the Institute for Art History, Archaeology and Classical Studies at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Her career spans institutions including the University of Mainz, University of Bamberg, and Ludwig Maximilian University Munich. She serves on academic boards like the Historische Kommission Sachsen-Anhalt and directs the Forum Art History of Britain and Ireland (FAHBI).
