Urte Regler serves as a Lecturer in the Directing Program at the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy since the winter semester of 2018/19. She maintains an active parallel career as a freelance director in Munich's independent theater scene since 2014 and previously held significant directing positions at Landestheater Coburg from 2008 to 2014.
Her academic foundation was established through studies in Musicology and Romance studies at the University of Rostock, followed by professional experience in the university's Continuing Education and Distance Learning department.
Specializing in theatre and opera direction, Ms. Regler has developed expertise across multiple performance domains with particular emphasis on youth-oriented productions.
