Prof. Ursula Rust is a Professor of Gender Law, Labour Law, and Social Law at the University of Bremen's Faculty of Law. She directs the Bremer Institute for German, European, and International Gender, Labour, and Social Law (BIGAS). Her research focuses on European labour law, social legislation, and supranational frameworks addressing pension systems with an emphasis on gender equality. She holds a chair in these disciplines and has expertise in implementing EU equal treatment directives (Articles 13 and 141 EG).
