Ursula Röthlisberger is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the School of Basic Sciences (SB) and the Institut des Sciences et Ingénierie Chimiques (ISIC). She leads the Lab of Computational Chemistry and Biochemistry (L CBC). Her research focuses on computational chemistry and biochemistry, leveraging methods like molecular dynamics, Monte-Carlo simulations, and electronic structure calculations.
Education: Diploma in Physical Chemistry (University of Bern, 1988), PhD (collaboration with IBM Zurich Research Lab, 1991). Postdoctoral research at IBM, University of Pennsylvania, Max-Planck Institute, and ETH Zurich. Awarded a Swiss National Science Foundation Profil 2 Fellowship (1994).
