Ursula Pawlowski

Ursula Pawlowski is an Adjunct Professor at National Louis University (NLU), specializing in Human Resources and Management. She serves on the NLU Adjunct Council (2018-2020), Faculty Professional Standards and Compensation Committee, and University Level Written Communication Assessment committee. She is a certified trainer for the suicide prevention workshop (QPR) and a member of #NLUHOPESQUAD, promoting wellness initiatives at NLU. Ursula holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications and has over 20 years of HR experience across healthcare, education, and nonprofit sectors.

Her areas of expertise include Conflict Resolution, Diversity & Inclusion, Organizational Behavior, and Strategic Planning. She redesigned multiple blended and online courses for NLU’s MSHRMD program and served as its Assistant Director (2016-2017). Her work emphasizes Training & Development, Talent Management, and Healthcare HR strategies.

Awards include the 2016 CPSA Adjunct Faculty of the Year and NLU’s Excellence in Teaching Award. She has authored toolkits for ASHHRA and presented nationally on topics like workforce planning, healthcare HR, and leadership development. Ursula also chairs the Aquinas Literacy Center board, focused on ESL adult education.
