Anetta Undas is a Professor at the Institute of Cardiology, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland. She holds leadership roles including Head of the Department of Thromboembolic Diseases (since 2022), Director's Plenipotentiary for the Krakow Research and Medical Technology Center (since 2011), and Editor-in-Chief of Kardiol Pol (2022–present). Her research focuses on anticoagulation therapy, thrombosis pathophysiology, and fibrin clot structure.
Education: Full professor title (2007), Habilitation (2001), PhD in Medicine (1996), and medical degree from Jagiellonian University Medical College (1990). Postdoctoral training included fellowships at Burlington State University (VT, US) and the State University of Newark (NJ, US).
Research interests include inherited/acquired thrombophilia, thrombotic manifestations of atherosclerosis, and fibrinolysis.
