Umut Tabak

Dr. Umut Tabak is a Turkish academic and mechanical engineer affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Izmir University of Economics since September 2022. He graduated as valedictorian from Dokuz Eylul University in 2001, completed his Master's there in 2004, and earned his PhD in 2020 at Delft University of Technology with a thesis titled "Methods for Efficient Analysis of Vibro-Acoustic Problems." His career spans academia and industry, including roles at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), Sonion (Netherlands), and Vestel (Turkey). His expertise lies in structural dynamics, vibration analysis, finite element methods, and computational modeling for vibro-acoustic systems.
