Ulrike Stern

Ulrike Stern serves as a Scientific Associate at the Institute for German Philology, University of Greifswald. Holding an M.A. in Cultural Studies, she specializes in Low German language education and provides academic advising for teacher training programs.

Her research interests focus on German Philology with emphasis on Low German language preservation, teacher education methodologies, and cultural studies related to regional German variants. This work contributes to maintaining linguistic diversity within educational frameworks.

For students pursuing the minor subject Low German, Stern provides essential academic guidance according to current study regulations. During the winter semester 2025/2026, she holds office hours on Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM by prior email arrangement.
