Ulrike Lechner

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ulrike Lechner holds the Chair of Business Information Systems at the Faculty of Computer Science, Bundeswehr University Munich. After studying computer science in Passau, she held academic positions at the University of St. Gallen and University of Bremen before joining UniBw M in 2004. Her work focuses on IT security for critical infrastructures, enterprise architectures, and digital business models, particularly in food supply chains and cybersecurity education.

Recent projects include NutriSafe (funded by BMBF) and collaborations with Siemens, Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, and fortiss. She actively mentors students in master's programs and participates in STEM outreach initiatives like "Strong girls do MI(N)T!" workshops.
