Ulrike Felsing is a Senior Lecturer at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art (HSLU), where she teaches in the BA Graphic Design and Data Design + Art programs. She leads the +RE course 'Wissensbilder in Medien und Gesellschaft.' Her research focuses on Knowledge Visualization in Digital Humanities, Participatory Archives, and Intercultural Communication. She co-leads the Sinergia project 'Participatory Knowledge Practices in Analog and Digital Image Archives' (2021–2025), funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF). Previously, she collaborated with Dr. R. Baur on SNF-funded research on transcultural visual communication methods (2010–2015). She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Leipzig University of Art.
