Ulrich Siegrist

Prof. Ulrich Siegrist is a Professor and Director of the Study Program in Social Work at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg. His career spans over three decades in social work, clinical social service, organizational psychology, and coaching supervision. He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling Sciences from the University of Kassel (2020), a Master's in Organizational Psychology (2008), and a Diploma in Social Pedagogy (1991).

His professional journey includes roles such as Deputy Head of Social Service at the Karlsruhe Clinic for Psychiatry, Director of 'Treffpunkt Leben', and Ombudsman for the Diocesan Working Group on Supervision. Since 2020, he has led Continuing Education programs in Supervision & Coaching at the GWG Academy Cologne.

Siegrist's research focuses on resilience processes in work environments, person-centered approaches to coaching, and the integration of felt sense theory into therapeutic practices. His publications explore resilience training, crisis management, and embodied cognition in coaching. Notable works include Training Resilience (2017) and Experiential Coaching (2022).
