Ulrich Schwarz-Linek

Ulrich Schwarz-Linek is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Impact at the School of Biology, University of St Andrews. His research focuses on structural biology, protein biochemistry, and host-pathogen interactions, particularly investigating Gram-positive bacterial surface proteins and viral virulence factors.

• Key Research Areas: Structural characterization of TIE domains, GAS M proteins, and Rift Valley fever virus NSs proteins; covalent binding mechanisms; protein engineering for diagnostics/therapeutics.
