Ulrich Bauer

Ulrich Bauer is a Lecturer at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Hochschullehrer) since 1988, holding a Master of Arts in European Marketing Management from Brunel University (UK). He currently serves as the academic director of the International Summer University (ISU) in the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo), focusing on Business and Management. Bauer leads bilingual and English-language bachelor programs in International Business and Management, and has been responsible for these programs since 2010. He is also the faculty representative for partner universities in English-speaking countries.

His career includes teaching Business and Management English in the tertiary sector, alongside roles such as co-director of the ISU (2012–2015) and program manager for the European Business Studies diploma program (2002–2010). Bauer’s expertise spans political economy of English-speaking countries, intercultural management, and presentation/negotiation training.
