Ulf-Peter Apfel

Ulf-Peter Apfel is a Professor of Inorganic and Technical Electrochemistry at Ruhr University Bochum and Head of the Electrosynthesis Department at Fraunhofer UMSICHT. He was appointed in 2019 following postdoctoral work at MIT and establishment of Emmy Noether and Liebig research groups. He leads major national research platforms focused on sustainable energy solutions.
