Ufuk Tarı

Dr. Ufuk Tarı is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geological Engineering in the Mining Faculty of Istanbul Technical University (ITU). His research focuses on structural geology, active tectonics, paleoseismology, geomorphology, and paleoclimate studies. He has conducted extensive studies on marine terraces, tectonic uplift rates, and coastal geomorphology in regions like the Sea of Marmara, Eastern Mediterranean, and Maritime Antarctica.

Recent Articles: His 2024 publications highlight novel methods for submerged beachrock mapping and tectonic uplift quantification in the Marmara region, while earlier works focus on the North Anatolian Fault's geomorphic impacts and paleoenvironmental reconstructions in Hatay.
