Tyler Shepherd

Tyler Shepherd is an Assistant Professor of Double Bass at Oklahoma City University's School of Music, specializing in instrumental and strings education. His affiliations include roles in Music - Jazz and orchestral performance. He has held prior faculty positions at the University of Texas at Arlington, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Young Strings program. His expertise spans classical, jazz, and folk music performance, with extensive experience in major orchestras worldwide.

Education includes studies at Boston University, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Walnut Hill School for the Arts.
