Tyler Houser is a doctoral student and graduate research assistant in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society at George Mason University, with a secondary affiliation at the Applied Research and Laboratory for Intelligence and Security. His academic journey includes a B.S. and M.A. in Criminal Justice from Radford University.
His research interests span terrorism, intelligence and security challenges, machine learning, and crime analysis, often integrating interdisciplinary methods. His recent work in Security Journal explores criminology-computer vision synergies for addressing gun violence, reflecting his expertise in data-driven security solutions and technology-assisted crime prevention.
