Txus Morata Garcia

Txus Morata Garcia is a Full Professor at Ramon Llull University, affiliated with the Pere Tarrés Faculty of Social Education and Social Work. He serves as Director of the Chair of Educational Leisure and the Innovation and Social Analysis Research Group (GIAS).

His research focuses on social integration, leisure studies, and community development within Spain. Recent publications examine educational leisure as a driver for social cohesion, pandemic response programs, and cultural diversity management.

Current projects address violence prevention in educational settings under Spain's Ley Orgánica 8/2021, with funding from the Ministerio Derechos Sociales y Agenda 2030 and Aristos Campus Mundus grants. Collaborations span Catalonia, Spain, and international contexts in California.
