Tuomas Räsänen is a Professor at the Department of Geographical and Historical Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies, University of Eastern Finland. His research focuses on

Current projects include the Academy of Finland-funded consortium Humans and Ticks in the Anthropocene (HUTI), alongside contributions to Cultures of Unsustainability and Living with the Sea in a Changing Climate.
