Tuncay Köse

Associate Professor Tuncay Köse is a faculty member at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Health Informatics and Technologies. He holds a Doctorate in Health Institutions Management from Hacettepe University and has developed an extensive academic career focusing on healthcare management and organizational behavior in healthcare settings.

His research interests include healthcare management, organizational behavior in healthcare, health informatics, healthcare quality management, healthcare economics, patient satisfaction, and healthcare worker psychology. Professor Köse has published extensively in these areas, with recent work focusing on corporate image in healthcare, patient loyalty, healthcare worker mobbing, and health system efficiency during the COVID-19 pandemic.

His scholarly work demonstrates consistent trends toward understanding organizational dynamics in healthcare settings, particularly examining how psychological factors, leadership styles, and organizational structures impact healthcare outcomes, worker satisfaction, and patient experiences. His publications span both Turkish and international journals, showing his commitment to contributing to the global healthcare management literature while addressing specific Turkish healthcare system challenges.

Professor Köse has supervised multiple graduate students, including Esra Fener (2023), Bensu Yıldız (2023), Berna Kırıkoğlu (2022), Deniz Tokaç (2019), and Zeliha Özkaraca (2017), demonstrating his commitment to mentoring the next generation of healthcare managers.
