Tugce Martagan

Tugce Martagan is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University’s College of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2015) and previously worked at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on stochastic modeling, optimization, and game theory applied to biopharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare operations. She has won numerous awards, including the INFORMS Franz Edelman finalist award (2022) and the 2024 Decision Sciences Institute Best Paper Award. Her work emphasizes improving manufacturing efficiency, supply chain strategies, and healthcare access through data-driven decision-making.
