Tsung-Fu Chen is a full-time Professor at the Department of Law, National Taiwan University. He specializes in Comparative Contract Law, Comparative Tort Law, and Medical Law, and teaches courses such as Taiwanese Civil Code, Law of Obligations, and Medical Malpractice Jurisprudence.
Education: Summa cum laude from NTU Department of Law (1987), LL.M. from Harvard Law School (1994), and J.S.D. from NYU School of Law (1997). Practiced law in Taiwan for two years post-graduation.
Research contributions include four authored books: 'An Introduction to the Civil Code,' 'Causation and Damages,' 'Tort Liability and Damages,' and 'Wrongfulness in Tort and Damages.' Held visiting professorships at University of Hawaii Law School (2006) and Renmin University Law School (2007).
