Prof. Truuske de Bock is a Professor of Oncological Epidemiology at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Medical Sciences and Head of the Department of Epidemiology at UMCG. She holds a PhD in Medicine (Leiden University, 1994) and an MA in Psychology (Utrecht University, 1987). Her research focuses on cancer early detection, treatment outcomes, and optimizing screening strategies while balancing cost and quality of life. She leads the OncoLifeS biobank integrating clinical and quality-of-life data.
