Trudy Krause

Trudy Krause is a Professor Non-Tenure Research at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health, affiliated with the Department of Management, Policy and Community Health. She serves as Co-Director of the Center for Health Care Data, focusing on health care data collection (claims data, EHR data, survey data) for research and public policy applications.

Her expertise spans outcomes analyses, hospital administration, data analytics (metric design, process auditing), and clinical domains including mental health, occupational health, wellness, rehabilitation, and outcome predictive models. She has a special emphasis on health care cost-quality relationships and social determinants of health.

As a non-tenure research professor, she collaborates with researchers and agencies to refine data-driven health care questions and policy solutions.
