Trude Bukve

Trude Bukve is Associate Professor at the Department of Linguistic, Literary and Aesthetic Studies, University of Bergen. Her research explores sociolinguistics, language attitudes, and educational applications of linguistic diversity.

Her work examines language practices in educational settings, with focus on attitudes toward Norwegian language varieties, inclusive language practices, and multilingualism. Recent projects include studies on the gender-neutral pronoun 'hen', encyclopedia usage patterns, and language perception in urban environments.

She maintains active research collaborations on language tracks in urban and rural contexts and engages with educational applications of linguistic research.
