Dr. Troy Moon is Professor of Tropical Medicine and Pediatrics at Tulane University's School of Public Health, holding the endowed William G. Vincent Professorship of Tropical Diseases and Hygiene. An infectious disease specialist and health-services researcher, he joined Tulane in 2023 after extensive fieldwork in sub-Saharan Africa.

Global health leadership includes serving as Clinical Director of Mozambique's PEPFAR-funded HIV program (2007-2012), where he conducted implementation research on TB care, PMTCT, and cervical cancer screening. He continues developing sustainable training programs across sub-Saharan Africa.
