Tristan Stöber

Dr. Tristan Stöber is a researcher at the Institute of Neuroinformatics (INI), a joint research unit of the Faculties of Computer Science and Medicine at Ruhr University Bochum. His work focuses on understanding fundamental principles of behavior and cognition in biological systems and translating these insights into artificial cognitive solutions through interdisciplinary collaboration.

His research spans Computational Neuroscience as the core discipline, integrated with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Robotics, Neurophysiology, and Experimental Psychology. This cross-disciplinary approach bridges biological neural mechanisms with engineered systems to address complex information processing challenges.
