Dr. Trisha Stubblefield is a Professor of English and Harmon Professor of English at Cottey College, serving as Coordinator of the English Department. She holds a B.A. in English and B.M. in Music History from Converse College, and M.A. and Ph.D. (2001) from the University of South Carolina. Her academic focus includes twentieth-century American literature, with a dissertation on 1980s 'Brat Pack' novelists like Tama Janowitz and Bret Easton Ellis. She teaches courses on women writers, American/English literature, Ecofeminism, and uniquely integrates Taylor Swift's cultural impact into pedagogy.
Dr. Stubblefield leads Cottey College’s Sigma Tau Delta English honor society chapter.
