Dr. Trish Cain is a Lecturer in Psychology at the School of Arts and Humanities, Edith Cowan University (ECU). She holds a PhD from Murdoch University (2019) and a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (2015). Her research focuses on attitude formation, marginalized groups' lived experiences, qualitative data analysis, and psychometric measurement. She has a full-time role combining teaching and research, including courses like PSY3456 (Mental Health and Interventions) and PSY1204 (Social Determinants of Behaviour).

She also explores refugee and migrant workplace integration through mixed-methods studies.
Supervision: Currently supervises a PhD on mortality risk assessment tools for end-of-life care and previously supervised research on immigrant experiences with dementia care in Australia.
Labs/Teams: Associated with ECU's Centre for Research in Aged Care, where she completed a post-doctoral fellowship (2023). Active in interdisciplinary collaborations on dementia care and aged care policy.
