Tricia Leahey

Dr. Tricia Leahey is Professor in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut's College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. She directs obesity treatment research focused on behavioral interventions and weight loss maintenance strategies.

Research develops cost-effective lifestyle interventions using behavioral economics and technology-assisted delivery methods. Current NIH-funded trials examine patient-provided care models, web-based interventions, and adherence strategies.

Publications reflect focus on digital health innovations in obesity treatment, psychological factors in weight management, and metabolic adaptation mechanisms.
