Professor Triantafyllou Dimitrios is a distinguished academic in the field of International Politics, currently serving as Professor at Panteion University of Athens. He brings extensive experience from his previous role as Professor of International Relations and Director of the Center for International and European Studies (CIES) at Kadir Has University in Istanbul (2010-2023).

He participates in various advisory and collaborative roles including membership in the Greek-Turkish Forum, co-convening the Commission on the Black Sea, and serving on advisory boards for the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation and the International Institute for Peace in Vienna.
Throughout his career, he has held positions at prestigious institutions including the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), EU Institute for Security Studies in Paris, Hellenic Observatory at LSE, University of the Aegean, and International Center for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS). He has also served as an advisor to the Hellenic Ministry for Foreign Affairs, bridging academic research with policy-making.
