Dr. Trevor Pickering is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Population and Public Health Sciences at USC. As faculty in the CTSI BERD biostatistics core, he specializes in statistical methods for health research including longitudinal analysis, social network analysis, and structural equation modeling.
His research examines health disparities, intervention effectiveness, and social determinants of health outcomes. Recent publications investigate communication factors influencing racial/ethnic healthcare disparities and genetic markers for pregnancy complications. Current projects include COVID-19 vaccination dynamics modeling and analysis of health system factors affecting cancer care equity.
Dr. Pickering collaborates extensively with clinical investigators on study design and methodological approaches for health services research.
