Trela N Anderson

Dr. Trela N Anderson is an Adjunct Professor in the English Department at George Mason University, specializing in composition studies. With over twenty years of teaching experience, she previously served as Department Chair and program director at Fayetteville State University.

Her research explores composition pedagogy, reading literacy, African American literature, and creative nonfiction. Publications include a memoir and scholarly articles in journals like the Journal of College Reading and Learning.

She holds a BA from University of Tennessee, an MA from University of Georgia, and a PhD from University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
