Dr. Travis Zimmerman, Ed.D., is an Adjunct Professor at Marymount University's School of Education, where he contributes to academic programs. He also chairs the Career and Technical Education department at Urbana High School in Maryland, focusing on data-driven career readiness initiatives rooted in Social Cognitive Career Theory. With seventeen years of experience in education, Zimmerman has specialized in organizational innovation in social studies curricula, piloting flipped and blended classroom models, leading EdCamps, and developing specialized instructional supports for public high schools.
