Professor Travis Waller holds joint appointments at Australian National University and Technical University of Dresden, where he serves as Lighthouse Professor and Chair of Transport Modeling. Previously Head of School for Civil and Environmental Engineering at UNSW Sydney, he leads research in integrated transportation planning models with $30M+ secured funding.
His research examines dynamic traffic assignment, adaptive network equilibrium, and ethics in transportation systems. With 200+ peer-reviewed publications and supervision of 38 PhD students, he has conducted 60+ projects for global sponsors.
