Professor Tracy Merlin is Head of the School of Public Health at the University of Adelaide and founding director of the Adelaide Health Technology Assessment (AHTA) group. As Australia's first Professor of Health Technology Assessment, she has over 25 years of experience in clinical epidemiology and health policy research.
Her research develops methodologies for evaluating medical technologies, diagnostics, and co-dependent systems. She has authored over 200 systematic reviews and health technology assessments informing national healthcare policies.
