Tracy L. Dalton

Tracy L. Dalton is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at Missouri State University. She teaches courses including Professional Editing, Technical Writing, and Food Writing. Her expertise spans English grammar, punctuation, and editing, with a notable focus on culinary writing through her co-authored publication A Taste of the Berry (2016).

Educated at Truman State University, Dalton holds an MA in English Literature (1986) and a BA in Mass Communication (1985).

Her awards include the Marcia Morriset Award (2012) for Honors Education and multiple Master Online Course Recognition Awards (2016, 2020) for course design excellence. She is also a recognized advisor, earning NACADA's Outstanding Faculty Advisor (2010) and Curtis P. Lawrence Advising Awards (2010).
