Tracy Coskie

Dr. Tracy Coskie is a Professor and Chair of the Department at the Woodring College of Education, Western Washington University. She also serves as Director of the M.Ed. Language and Literacy program. Her roles include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses such as Literacy II (ELED 481), Literacy Practicum (ELED 492), and Language Arts (ELED 424). She holds a BA from the University of Rochester, an M.Ed. and Ph.D. from the University of Washington.

Her research and professional interests center on teacher professional development, effective writing instruction, and the integration of reading and writing within contextual learning environments.
