Tracy Almanzan serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Patti and Paul Yetter Center for Law at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She joined UTEP in February 2023 to teach legal writing and research as part of the Law School Preparation Institute. Previously, she practiced law for over a decade, specializing in child welfare, juvenile law, family law, and probate law. She began her career at the El Paso County Attorney’s Office as a Community Prosecutor, later transitioning to private practice in 2016.
