Dr. Tracie Scott is an Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai, affiliated with the School of Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in Law and teaches undergraduate law and postgraduate courses in International Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, and Accountancy.

Her research focuses on property and constitutional law, commercial law in comparative contexts, human rights, social justice, and Indigenous rights. She authored the 2012 book Postcolonial Sovereignty: The Nisga’a Final Agreement, which remains a key resource on Indigenous treaties in Canada.
