Traci O'Brien

Traci O'Brien is a Professor in the Department of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures at Auburn University, specializing in German language and literature. She teaches courses ranging from elementary German (FLGR 1010/2010) to advanced topics like contemporary German literature (FLGR 4160).

Selected Publications include work on proficiency-based teaching, Eva Rossmann’s Freudsche Verbrechen, Ottilie Assing’s American reports, and Lenka Reinerová’s late prose. Her research engages with postmodern criminality, feminist consciousness, and Holocaust memory in Germanic contexts.
